Obama's pick for Secretary of Labor wouldn't answer questions concerning illegal immigrants?

Hilda Solis was tapped by Obama to be labor secretary but wouldn't answer Senator's questions about illegal immigration because she supports it! And doesn't want to loose opportunity to influence immigration policy. What are your thoughts! News last night, her confirmation hearing was yesterday. She was on the Board of Hispanic Caucus, which endores illeagal entry into the US.

Illegal immigration is effing illegal. MY family came here, learned to communicate with people, went through the LEGAL process, got jobs, gained citizenship and paid taxes. Why is it so much easier for people now?
6. Hilda Solis is pro union. I doubt whether she support illegal immigration. Where is you question?
7. 15 millions illegals suddenly American citizens along with their extended families helps to further tilt the voting patterns to the left. Of course Democrats are in favor of letting the illegals stay.
